Job Description

This position supports the fundraising and stewardship strategies through operation and use of the Foundation's fundraising database (Raiser's Edge), which is the substructure for all business operations related to contributions, events, donor demographics, prospect tracking and predictive modeling for fundraising campaigns. Responsible for administering daily gifts received by the Foundation as well as the associated duties of gift reporting, receipting and reconciliation with the finance department.

This position reports to the Supervisor of Advancement Services providing business intelligence that supports the planning and execution of all fundraising efforts. Ensures that foundation staff is trained in the proper use of systems and data and develops and implements policies to guide data accuracy and integrity.

This is a hybrid position- 3 days onsite, 2 days from home.

Compensation & Benefits Information

The hourly wage for this opportunity is $21.25/hour to $31.86/hour, with a median wage of $26.55/hour. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience, education, certification & licensure, and internal equity. Hourly pay just one part of the compensation package for employees. Major Challenges

  • Ensure accuracy in data entry from multiple donation platforms, adjusting to fluctuations in work volumes
  • Oversight of database, requiring keen ability to identify integrity issues and implement a plan to clean data and create process improvement
  • Setting up and maintaining donation pages in DonorDrive on an ongoing basis
  • Organize and manage special projects and event work including registrations and data importing
  • Operate with a strong appreciation for resourcefulness, teamwork, and collaborating in a dynamic and growing environment
  • Create documentation and train staff on proper use of the Raiser's Edge


Primary Job Responsibilities

  • Gift Processing and Acknowledgements
    • Deposit and post gifts/pledges and process credit card payments
    • Research, enter and maintain data in the development gift information system and audit the integrity of that data
    • Work with finance partners to assist with deposit reconciliation
    • Process and send out acknowledgements
    • Assist with documentation on data entry processes
    • Mail acknowledgements to donors

  • Data Maintenance & Integrity
    • Primary support for adding and updating donor records including demographic information and attributes
    • Assists with data clean-up projects

  • Oversees uploading of database to house, track and manage data regarding all fundraising
    • Process gift and donor imports through Omatic

  • Foundation Support
    • Provide customer service via the Foundation phone line and email
    • Assist with stewardship mailing projects
    • Establish and maintain online platforms for event registration
    • Volunteer with team at fundraising events


Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates degree, or equivalent years of experience in a similar position
  • Experience working with a relationship database

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Raisers Edge experience
  • DonorDrive experience
