About the Role

The Uber Advertising team is focused on creating a marketplace-centric approach to connect Uber's diverse user base-eaters, riders, and earners-with advertisers. Our advertising platform combines location-based insights with shopping data and closed-loop attribution, leveraging Uber's mobility and delivery channels to support performance and brand campaigns. This allows advertisers to connect with our users throughout the entire marketing funnel, from awareness to loyalty.

What You'll Do

  1. Develop and implement ads partnership strategies that deliver on our partners' marketing objectives and exceed growth goals each quarter.
  2. Use critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills to navigate complex relationships and partner conversations.
  3. Drive ads product adoption across our Mobility and Delivery channels.
  4. Communicate the value of our newest ads products in ways that creatively highlight our offerings.
  5. Craft impactful pitch narratives that scale across our Ads team and drive growth for partners.
  6. Be flexible and ready to wear multiple hats to build the business, stepping in to help teammates when needed.
  7. Serve as the voice of the customer, providing feedback to shape the future of our Ads product roadmap.

What You'll Need

  1. At least 5 years of experience in end-to-end large customer digital advertising sales, with a proven track record.
  2. Focus in QSR, Endemic Advertisers. Performance Advertising
  3. Experience in selling ad solutions to large, sophisticated enterprise brands and organizations.
  4. Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  5. Proven ability to build and execute strategic sales plans that create successful outcomes for both partners and Uber.
  6. Ability to analyze and interpret key Retail Media metrics to deliver actionable insights. Skilled in crafting compelling narratives based on campaign performance, clearly demonstrating the value of advertising solutions and identifying opportunities for optimization and growth aligned with client business goals
  7. A creative storytelling approach with the ability to use data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makers.
  8. Strong leadership skills, with excellent listening, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
  9. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a resourceful and proactive mindset.
  10. Comfort navigating ambiguity, using insights to make confident decisions and drive growth.
