Your Impact:
Hearst Magazines, a leading digital media company and publisher of brands such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, Esquire, Good Housekeeping and Delish, is seeking a dynamic Coordinator to work with the Industry Marketing & Advertising Communications team. This role will work across multiple disciplines, with approximately half of the job devoted to supporting the development and delivery of internal training materials; and half devoted to supporting external communications.
On the training and internal communications front, the Coordinator will assist in driving ongoing growth of company-wide skills and intelligence around a diverse set of topics from sales fundamentals to digital and data acumen to presentation skills to product adoption and more, for all business teams across Hearst's 29 brands. The Coordinator will also help maintain internal systems for housing and disseminating sales-supporting information.
On the external communications front, the Coordinator will assist in maintaining systems and support for connecting with advertising clients, including list maintenance, e-blasts, event support, and more. The Coordinator will also assist in logistical support for mission-driven projects undertaken by Hearst Magazines, such as thought-leadership summits and values-driven advertising partnerships.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Coordinator who loves the challenge of managing and finding compelling solutions for multiple projects at the same time. The Coordinator will be passionate about ensuring Hearst maintains its authoritative position in the marketplace.
This role reports to the Vice President, Industry Marketing & Advertising Communications, and is based in New York City.
What You'll Do:
- Own and maintain corporate training resource portals and platforms
- Manage and maintain digital training library
- Manage and maintain internal resource dashboard
- Manage and maintain internal distribution lists and external/client distribution lists
- Support Director of Training in the creation of new training materials
- Lead company-wide training communication including newsletters, Slack workspace and channel platforms
- Field and manage training requests from across the company
- Monitor training schedules and agendas to minimize conflicts and facilitate speedy information distribution
- Stay abreast of the marketplace competition and digital innovations
- Support Industry team on development and dissemination of external communications
- Help plan and execute select advertiser-facing events
- Help Industry team with mission-based projects that speak to Hearst Magazines' support of values such as diversity, equity, inclusion, as well as sustainability, service, and more
