Advertising Coordinator
Job Description
The Advertising Coordinator's primary responsibility is the entry of advertising notices to appear in the San Antonio Express-News products. Duties will include entering ads into the advertising system, responding to client emails and phone calls in a timely manner. Coordinating with the finance team for client required documents including notarized affidavits. This position is part of a team and will be cross-trained with other team members with similar roles and responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follow process to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Provide proofs and quotes in a timely manner.
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize daily workflow.
- Provide exceptional customer service at all levels to both inside and outside the customers.
- Providing required client documents upon requests.
- Working with finance team on client questions.
- Be available to receiver phone calls during assigned time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong organization skills.
- High proficiency in the use of personal computer, with experience using Microsoft products - Word, Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple client requests
- Knowledge of advertising media and advertising rates
- Ability to get along well with a variety of personalities and individuals
- Ability to use research material
- Ability to work in an ever-changing media environment and deliver a product with minimal errors.
- High School Degree or GED
- 3 Years of Office Experience using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
