Job Summary

Responsible for prospecting and selling to key agencies and key clients who focus their efforts on selling products and services through the purchase of advertising. As a seasoned member of the sales team, may be assigned to provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced Account Executives. Consistently meets all goals and objectives in a timely and organized manner. Must be available for extended hours as needed and be willing to travel overnight as needed. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Core Responsibilities

  • Develops, services and maintains a base of clients and/or agencies who purchase advertising space or other media services to achieve established annual sales goals within assigned sales team.
  • Analyzes, develops and presents market research and advertising proposals to support client activities and products. Works with various marketing and sales personnel to coordinate important data and materials for presentations.
  • Interacts with various internal departments to carry out client requirements such as scheduling advertising, monitoring account activities and monitoring and managing collections.
  • Strategic Agency partner responsible for cultivating the relationship andselling toagencies to achieveannual sales goals​
  • Influence across an assigned group of agencies​
  • Partner with Ampersand Sales Team members on differentiatedEffectvmedia solutions​
  • Leads Ampersand relationship for assigned agencies​
  • Own the strategic relationship with Ampersand and the client level​
  • Develop and pursue potential target accounts from assigned agencies to drive newbusiness and grow revenue​
  • Sell multi-screen solutions to agencies​
  • D365 and Salesforce (CRM ) Management of Opportunities ​
  • Oversee the creation of Agency facing collateral and other agency presentations​
  • Understand the priorities of the agency and/or category​
  • Understanding of all Local/Regional/National Sports Opportunities​
  • Forecast revenue for the assigned agency and client level​
  • Prepare & present quarterly business review forEffectvleadership as well as agency client​
  • Oversee, as necessary, tactical work such as make goods, schedule revisions, stewardship​
  • Travel to visit clients as necessary​
  • Coach and develop Account Managers
  • Participates in National Ad Sales events as required (i.e. conferences, workshops, meetings etc.).
  • Sets the tone and pace for the National Ad Sales Account Executive team.
  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding sales goals and objectives.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's Degree

While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.

Relevant Work Experience

Salary:

Primary Location Pay Range: $38,400.00 - $101,712.00

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.

Targeted Commission: $166,250

Our sales compensation programs offer the potential for significant upside above targeted earnings for those who overachieve their sales targets.
