As an Advisory Product Coordinator/Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the design and implementation of various strategic initiatives and ongoing management efforts for the Managed Investment Program (MIP), VFA's retail advisory business. You will provide research and analytical support to both inform and drive decisioning, as well as preparation related to leadership communications regarding business activity. The focus of this position will be using data and analytics to drive product support, and manage various projects and initiatives related to the oversight and growth of our retail advisory program, MIP.

About the role

We want to hear from you today if you can:
• Support product strategy and implementation activities for the MIP advisory services business including strategy development, product launch and rationalization and vendor/partner management specific to investment solutions and platform services.
• Coordinate advisory working group and committee meetings, including preparing agendas and presentation material, taking minutes, and post meeting recordkeeping.
• Assist leadership in preparing and maintaining PowerPoint presentations, VISIO drawings, SharePoint sites and Excel spreadsheets.
• Support data management efforts and reporting related to measuring the efficacy of advisory marketing campaigns, microsite and thought leadership programming.
• Manage the process associated with maintaining third party investment manager collateral housed on the microsite.
• Liaise with various business partners including legal and compliance, operations and trading, marketing, due diligence and IT to research, gather data and feedback for various initiatives.
• Ability to research, investigate, propose and implement solutions to challenges identified by management.
• Partner with leadership to perform ongoing research, analysis and oversight for advisory share class review effort.
• Must be able to work with large sets of data and be able to analyze, interpret and convert into value-added intelligence for management.

What we are looking for
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 5 plus years work experience as an Analyst working on strategic initiatives, business reporting, marketing and vendor due diligence within financial services, preferably an RIA or Broker Dealer
• Experience in MS Office applications, including use of MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, OneNote, SharePoint and JIRA with particular expert knowledge in Excel
• Certifications in Business Analysis, Certified-Project Management, Certified Lean Practitioner or Project Management- SDLC, Agile Scrum
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills. Ability to identify a problem, analyzes the source problem, verifies and validates the source problem, and recommends viable solutions
• Proven ability to communicate information of a complex nature to all levels of management (written and verbal) in easy to understand business language
• Strong ability to interact with and use relationship management skills with key stakeholders and SMEs
• Strong communication skills-oral, written and presentation
• Working knowledge of advisory programs and RIA or investment management experience required
• Security licenses: Series 7, 63 and Series 65/66, or the ability to license within six months
