Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify, design, model and implement database work products/solutions including controlling scalability, optimizing data delivery, and automating manual processes. Must have strong hand-on with on-premises and cloud-based database implementation models.
• Analyze existing admin systems, understands business requirements and contribute towards drafting functional requirements into technical artifacts.
• Should be capable to integrate distinct database models.
• Provide recommendations and guidance to project leads based on insights gleaned from data.
• Effectively direct, manage and plan the operational, functional, technical and administrative activities to support ongoing delivery of services and/or operations.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with our broader product teams, while supporting ad-hoc analytics where needed
• Active role in training, coaching and mentoring staff within methodology and in other functions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' Experience with Python, R, Databrick and PowerBi
• Advanced proficiency in model-building languages such as R and Python
• Advanced proficiency in PySpark using Azure Cloud.
• Advanced proficiency in model presentations using Tableau / Power BI
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• T-SQL development skills in Objects creation, stored procedures designing to meet the business requirements
• Working knowledge of relational databases, DWH concepts, Data Migration/Integration and database structures and proficiency in SQL
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with senior management
• Should be well versed working in Agile methodology / Kanban (End to End managing the user stories within the sprint)
• Demonstrated aptitude and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
• Adapt to changing project requirements and business needs, demonstrating flexibility and resilience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelors or master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Jenkins (CI-CD), Docker, Azure Cloud development experience
• Experience working on large scale, multiple team projects
• Automate test cases for development.
• Unix Scripting experience
• Experience and/or exposure in dealing with health care claims experience (i.e. understanding of costs, expected claims, diagnosis codes, procedure codes)
• Have a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable analytical applications in a cloud environment
• Hands-on experience in one or more big data ecosystem products/languages such as Spark
