AEM QA Analyst

Position: QA Analyst – Adobe AEM
Location: Remote 
Contract Length: 12 months + 
East Coast Candidates Preferred ** Must be available to work EST hours **

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst working on website development using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), you will need a combination of general QA skills and specific knowledge related to AEM.
Essential skills and knowledge areas:

Understanding of AEM:

· Familiarity with AEM's architecture, components, templates, and authoring interfaces.

· Knowledge of how content is managed and published within AEM.

· Testing Methodologies:

· Solid understanding of different testing methodologies such as functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.

· Familiarity with both manual and automated testing processes.

Automation Tools and Scripting:

· Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, QTP, or TestComplete.

· Ability to write and manage scripts for automated testing (Python, Java, or JavaScript).

API Testing:

· Competency in testing RESTful and SOAP APIs, using tools like Postman or SoapUI.

· Bug Tracking and Test Management Tools:

· Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.

Performance Testing:

· Familiarity with performance testing tools like LoadRunner, JMeter, or Gatling to ensure the website can handle high traffic.

Cross-Browser and Cross-Device Testing:

· Ability to conduct testing across different browsers and devices to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.

Accessibility Testing:

· Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and tools like Axe or Wave to ensure the website is accessible to all users.

Security Testing:

· Basic knowledge of security testing practices to identify vulnerabilities in the web application.

Content Workflow Testing: Ability to test content authoring, editing, and publishing workflows specific to AEM.

Database/SQL Knowledge:

· Basic understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries to validate data.

· Attention to Detail:

· Keen attention to detail to identify subtle issues within complex web applications.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Ability to analyze issues systematically and find effective solutions promptly.

Ability to work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
