Aerospace Machinist
Job Description
MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN- MUST HAVE AEROSPACE EXPERIENCE.
Machining frames, casings, and seals for aircraft engines. Turning, milling, manual edge contouring (deburring). Low volume, high mix shop.
Aerospace machinists. CNC and manual. Mostly GE Fanuc controls with some Mark Century 550, 1050, and 2000 controls on older machines. G-code reading. Gage parts (all gages provided). Manual tool offsets, reading micrometers, putting parts on fixtures.
Holding .0001 tolerances. Nickel, titanium, and other exotic materials. Up to 84” turning tables. Grey, Bourn & Koch, Toshiba milling. Brand new DMG Mori 5 axis machine. Toshulin, SNK, Nigata, Monarch, Beaumont machines.
No forklifts are used. 2000lbs. remote and pendant cranes used by the machinists. They do their own coolant and oil checks.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $33.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 60 per week
Work Location: On the road
