Job Overview:

The AFC (Accredited Financial Counselor) Program Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations and oversight of our client-driven Financial Wellness Program. The program provides clients with one-on-one financial counseling sessions with Accredited Financial Counselors in areas of budgeting, credit building, and creating a value-driven action plan with. 

This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, an ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, strategic thinker able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment. The Manager will be hands-on, diving deep into client feedback for specific analyses, while able to keep the high-level strategy in mind.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and manage client session schedules, including scheduling and facilitating training sessions, tracking attendance and recording session hours.
  • Build and maintain client session feedback surveys, conduct insightful analyses on client feedback, client needs, operational trends, challenges, and opportunities; recommend solutions
  • Implement policies and processes to ensure the AFC team is providing high-quality service to clients and is in compliance with company code of conduct
  • Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders
  • Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Continuously assess program performance and make recommendations for improvements to processes and methodologies
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including clients, AFCs, and partners
  • Exercise flexibility in working on multiple projects concurrently in this fast-paced FinTech/start-up environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, engineering, computer science)
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on numerous factors including the individual’s skills, experience, performance, and the location where work is performed. Base salary may also be only one component of the offered competitive total rewards for this position that may also include commission, bonus, health care benefits, or other incentives.
Base Salary Range
$90,000—$110,000 USD
