Job Overview:
The AFC (Accredited Financial Counselor) Program Manager will be responsible for the day to day operations and oversight of our client-driven Financial Wellness Program. The program provides clients with one-on-one financial counseling sessions with Accredited Financial Counselors in areas of budgeting, credit building, and creating a value-driven action plan with.Â
This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, an ability to lead cross-functional teams, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven, strategic thinker able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment. The Manager will be hands-on, diving deep into client feedback for specific analyses, while able to keep the high-level strategy in mind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage client session schedules, including scheduling and facilitating training sessions, tracking attendance and recording session hours.
- Build and maintain client session feedback surveys, conduct insightful analyses on client feedback, client needs, operational trends, challenges, and opportunities; recommend solutions
- Implement policies and processes to ensure the AFC team is providing high-quality service to clients and is in compliance with company code of conduct
- Ensure that all project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders
- Communicate program status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis
- Continuously assess program performance and make recommendations for improvements to processes and methodologies
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including clients, AFCs, and partners
- Exercise flexibility in working on multiple projects concurrently in this fast-paced FinTech/start-up environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business administration, engineering, computer science)
- At least 5 years of experience in program management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines
