Affordability Program Leader
Job Description
This Program Leader is a trusted advisor who serves as a key contributor to the Affordability Program design, build and implementation while serving as an Affordability subject matter expert and main point of contact for senior leaders across the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
- Contribute to initial and annual assessment of Affordability program maturity; evaluate and assess the Affordability program's strength, weaknesses, and opportunities, and develop an annual Affordability program work plan to ensure continuous improvement
- Develop and implement a structured and disciplined approach to intakes, assessments, prioritization, execution, and reporting outcomes of Affordability initiatives. Collaborates with Affordability team members and internal stakeholders to inform the approach
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of subject matter related to assigned Affordability initiatives
- Collaborate with Affordability initiative executive owners and working teams to establish key performance measures related to projected savings and outcomes; monitor key performance measures
- Facilitate initial vetting of potential opportunities identified through analytics, internal stakeholder feedback, or review of industry best practices
- Partner with and support Affordability initiative owners to advance business cases through enterprise processes to attain appropriate approvals and necessary funding
This position will require periodic onsite presence at our Minnetonka, MN & Madison, WI offices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 10+ years of applicable work experience in health insurance, health care delivery or related field
- Advanced Project Management and Project Leadership experience with demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-level initiatives
- Demonstrated experience leveraging data to help inform decisions and actions
- Experience building and implementing enterprise-wide programs and/or standards required
Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, representing the organization
- Strong Analytical, communication, and collaborative skills

- Ability to build presentations for executive audiences
