Afternoon Child Care Teacher

Overview Pinehurst Child Care Center are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering the growth and development of young children. This role is essential in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive atmosphere for children to learn and thrive. Responsibilities • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development. • Provide attentive care to toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their safety and well-being. • Utilize effective behavior management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment. • Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. • Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative community focused on child welfare. • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in childhood development and early intervention strategies. • Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and learning. Experience • A degree or certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred. • Experience working in childcare care centers/programs or preschool settings is highly desirable. • Familiarity with behavior management techniques and early intervention strategies is beneficial. • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their developmental milestones is essential.
