Job Description

The Ag Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing and organizing Ziegler Ag Equipment's growth strategy and manage all projects associated with it. This position will also oversee all OEM compliance and integration and work closely with all Ziegler departments for implementation. The Ag Business Development Manager will report directly to the VP of Ziegler Ag Equipment and work closely with all positions within the organization to gain desired results.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage dealer development/growth projects and activities
    • OEM inclusion activities
    • New and existing location assessment, integration, and onboarding
    • Customer Experience
  • Manage OEM compliance and incentive programs
  • Help develop and manage annual and multiyear Ag strategic initiatives
  • OEM and customer contract review and implementation
  • Support VP, Directors, and Managers with data analytics, business analysis, and implementation functions
  • Improve, or assist, operational efficiencies
    • Training
    • Invoicing
    • Lead Management
    • Onboarding Standardization
  • Cultivate positive interactions and relationships from executive leadership to field staff to evaluate sales strategies and results
  • Create/support reporting tools to analyze daily, weekly, monthly, and annual business activities
  • Research and provide analytical direction to evaluate additional products and services to grow the Ag business
  • Develop ways to improve traditional and digital CX and build brand loyalty
  • Arrange and facilitate internal and external meetings
  • Attend OEM and industry meetings and training


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Ag Business, Administration, Finance or related field required
  • 5 years of experience in sales, management, customer service, finance, administration, or related field
  • Highly qualified computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook, Map Point)
  • Eager to expand Ziegler Ag Equipment with new sales , customers, and territories
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written, in person, phone, email, etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Works in a cooperative manner with all Ag team managers, other Ziegler departments, and sales professionals to accomplish goals
  • Ability to analyze data and translate results into better solutions
  • Personal attributes: Leadership orientation, planning and organization, problem solving, creative thinking, entrepreneurial


Travel:
  • Up to 10% travel
