Job Summary
MWResource is assisting our client in recruiting an Automatic Generation Control (AGC) Subject Matter Expert.
The selected engineer will become a full-time direct employee of our client.
The primary function of this position is to assist with code migration for existing SCADA and AGC customs as part of an EMS upgrade effort.
The resource will support the EMS Upgrade Project: Participate in code migration and documentation related to the EMS upgrade project and provide solutions to technical issues ensuring the delivered solution meets the technical specifications and design requirements.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering.
- Preferably 5+ years of SCADA/EMS development experience on a GE e-terra platform system.
- Coding skills: Familiarity with coding languages such as ANSI C, C++, PL/SQL
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support.
- MS in Engineering.
- Experience with developing and maintaining programs in coding languages such as ANSI C, and C++.
Preferred
- PL/SQL.
- Experience with design, coding, operation, or maintenance of SCADA and/or AGC (automatic generation control) systems in an ISO/RTO, a utility, or an EMS vendor preferred.
