Agency Bill Accounting Specialist

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Posting Client cash receipts.
• Emailing Account Managers to request carrier invoices that we have not already received.
• Posting Bank report amounts that are coded to a GL.
• Posting Bank report Epays and wires.
• Update the bank reconciliation report and make sure all transactions are entered on the unposted tab.
• Client adjustments - transferring cash on account to applicable invoices.
• COA’s and Credit Statements - Research client credit balances and refunding when appropriate.
• Printing and mailing all Client statements with balances over 30 days – done at the beginning of every month - use e-pay for the comments comment (code 30) (do not mail Prem. finance cos. – IMPFI, FIRPR2, VISFI, WESCO)
• Printing and mailing all monthly installments.
• Printing and distributing all month end Aged receivable reports including:

1. Bond dept 06 to Bond Manager, Bond Account Manager, and CFO - sort by Producer
2. Depts 01, 02, 07 to Commercial Lines Operations Manager in total and to each account manager for their page
3. Depts 03, 04, 05, 08 to each account manager for their page
4. Combined all depts sorted by producer to each producer and email entire report to CFO

• Handling all premium finance agreements processing/transmitting, posting the financing, applying funding once received.
• Backing up accounting department with any miscellaneous projects.
