Overview

Grow With Us!The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Accounts Payable Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to build relationships and service our team.

This position will report to our agency located in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is an in-office position.

Responsibilities:

  • M-W-F Run ledger report for assigned areas of responsibility and pay invoices paid in full by customer if due date is within 20 days.
  • Retrieve invoices from IR for items identified as paid in full for support and removal from the queue.
  • Enter amount into the bill payment portal of Hilb's final choice.
  • Record ACH within AMS to relieve the liability.
  • Prepare support and send to appropriate carrier address for payment with released ACH support.
  • Research and work with ops on any items over 45 days and escalate if appropriate.
  • Research and work with ops on any discrepancies from invoice to billing

  • Interact with all contacts in a very professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently, as well as be a team player demonstrating collaboration
