Spotify’s Agency Development team builds strategic partnerships with leading UK media and creative agencies. We help brands connect with audiences through digital audio advertising, using data, insights, and innovation to unlock new growth opportunities across music and podcasts. You’ll work closely with Sales and cross-functional teams to shape how agencies and clients show up on Spotify.

What You'll Do

  • Build and grow senior relationships with key agency partners, including C-level stakeholders across major UK agency groups
  • Identify agency priorities and connect them to Spotify’s digital advertising, audio, and data-led solutions
  • Create and own clear account plans, including stakeholder mapping, business reviews, and long-term partnership strategies
  • Partner with Sales, Trading, Programmatic, and Global teams to deliver on commercial goals and drive revenue growth
  • Develop strong narratives that position Spotify as a strategic partner for brand and agency innovation
  • Design and deliver engaging education programs on Spotify’s ad products, audience insights, and media solutions
  • Lead and support complex deal negotiations, including commercial agreements and partnership structures
  • Analyze revenue trends, campaign performance, and market insights to identify new opportunities and optimize partnerships
  • Ensure smooth communication across teams and deliver a high level of service to agency partners
  • Represent Spotify in the UK advertising and media community through events and industry engagement

    Who You Are

  • You have 10+ years of experience in agency development, partnerships, business development, or digital advertising sales
  • You have experience working with media and creative agencies and understand the agency landscape
  • You have built strong relationships with senior stakeholders and know how to influence decision-making
  • You have grown revenue through strategic partnerships and long-term client relationships
  • You know how to translate data, product, and technical concepts into simple, compelling stories
  • You are comfortable working across cross-functional and matrixed teams to drive alignment and results
  • You enjoy creating presentations and delivering training or workshops to a range of audiences
  • You have experience leading business reviews and shaping quarterly and annual partnership plans
  • You understand the UK media, programmatic, and digital advertising ecosystem
  • You care about building inclusive partnerships and representing diverse audiences and voices in advertising
  • You adapt quickly and stay effective in fast-changing environments

  • This role is based in London
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 2-3 times per week.
