Agency Project Manager

We are looking for a U.S.-based, Project Manager, strategic thinker, and storyteller who can help us create inspiring work start to finish. 

You'll be responsible for managing the on-time, on-budget, and spot-on quality delivery of client and agency projects, while also working as an internal creative resource from project kick-off to final launch. This role will collaborate with internal team members from strategic, creative, development, and account service, as well as outside partners and vendors. This requires incredible interpersonal, communication and organization skills with demonstrated experience in balancing project scope, timelines, cost, and delivering incredible work. We’re looking for someone to become an integral part of our crew who can finesse client relationships, advocate for our agency and team, and has the ability to drive forward the work we're so proud of.

On a normal day, you will be working with the Niftic strategy, design and development teams of our fast-paced and small-but-mighty boutique team to track project pacing and details, alleviate road blocks where needed, provide updates to client facing teams, and capture & recap meeting notes. In addition, you’ll assist on strategic research & ideation, presentation building, and organizing outside vendors or freelancers.

Required skills & experiences

• Strong understanding of project management in action: project timeline and scope management, ability to craft and manage schedules and resource plans, change management and adaptation, team communication, project planning, budgeting. etc.
• Owning and managing the production process (from pitching, to creative development, and through production and launch) on multiple projects in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Be a leader & coordinate on a portfolio of accounts and manage day-to-day tasks with clear communication - engaging multiple groups both internally and externally
• Ability to interact with clients at a variety of levels and across functions, manage client expectations to ensure client satisfaction, finesse and build strong client relationships
• Strong, diplomatic verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write with collaboration - production briefs, technical documents, IA, presentations, etc.
• NOTE: International candidates must hold a valid US working permit.

Bonus points

• 5+ years of experience in an agency environment
• Experience and in-depth knowledge of design-thinking & human-first creative concepts and working within corporate brand guidelines
• A working knowledge of common web & design technologies (CMS, HTML, InDesign, Adobe Cloud, Google Presentation)
