Agency Relationship Manager
The Agency Relationship Manager will be at the forefront of creating, nurturing, accelerating relationships with our network of independent agents by managing a small team. Your mission? To empower our agency partners, enhance their performance, and reshape the auto insurance landscape.

About the ROLE
Each day at AssuranceAmerica is different, but as Agency Relationship Manager in Sales, you will:β’ Strategic Alignment & Execution: Create, deploy, and execute strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing agency expansion, premium growth, and customer retention.β’ Licensing Management: Manage and oversee the agency licensing and appointment process to ensure compliant with legal and regulatory standards. Review and oversee partnership agreements to ensure they align with the company's business objectives.β’ Agency Compliance: Develop, implement, and update compliance policies and procedures for agency partnership. Review and oversee appointment contracts to ensure they align with the company's business and regulatory requirements. Maintain comprehensive records of agency compliance activities, audits, and performance reviews. β’ Budget Management: Manage budget allocations for agency partnerships, ensuring resources are utilized efficiently.β’ Agency Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, productive relationships with our network of insurance agencies. Serve as the primary point of contact for agency inquiries, concerns, and support needs. Conduct regular agency visits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth. β’ Growth Initiatives: Collaborate with the Sales, Product Management, IT and Legal teams to identify opportunities for expanding our agency network. Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new agency partners ensuring they are fully equipped to represent our brand effectively.β’ Agency Support: Provide ongoing support and assistance to agency partners, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely responses. Collaborate with various internal departments to support agencies in delivering exceptional service to policyholders. Coordinate training sessions and workshops to keep agencies updated on product offerings, procedures, and best practices.β’ Performance Monitoring: Track agency performance and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing feedback and guidance to improve operations. Review and analyze agency reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.β’ Data Analysis: Leverage data to evaluate performance metrics, agent satisfaction, and overall agency support effectiveness. Use insights to drive decision-making and improvements. β’ Problem Solving: Tackle challenges head-on, using creative problem-solving and critical thinking skills to resolve agent issues and promote a culture of continuous improvement.β’ Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of agency interactions, issues, and resolutions. Prepare regular reports to senior management on agency performance and other areas requiring attention. β’ Customer-Centric Focus: Maintain a customer-centric approach in all interactions, ensuring our agents receive the highest level of support and satisfaction.β’ Other: Assist with special projects as assigned by the SVP of Sales & Service.
Requirements

Requiredβ’ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance, or a related field.β’ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.β’ Strong leadership and team management capabilities.β’ Willingness to travel to meet with agency partners when necessary.β’ Proficiency in CRM software (ie Salesforce)
Preferredβ’ Knowledge of auto insurance products, regulations, and industry trends and best practices.β’ Proven experience in the insurance industry with a focus on agency support and management.β’ Prior management experience directing the day-to-day responsibilities of a team.
Physical Requirementsβ’ Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.β’ Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.β’ Must be able to travel.
