Here at Semsee, we are building technologies that will help revolutionize the $120 billion small business insurance industry. Our breakthrough marketplace platform is a dynamic quoting tool designed for independent insurance agents in the small commercial space.

With Semsee, independent insurance agents can maximize efficiencies by using our proprietary form to obtain quotes from multiple insurance carriers at once in a historically hyper-fragmented industry. We believe that our initial SaaS opportunity serves as a stepping stone into much larger business opportunities as our network of insurance carriers & agencies expands.

The Role

We are looking for an Agency Support Associate with insurance agency experience to engage our user base and drive usage of the Semsee platform. In this role, you’ll interact with insurance agents and brokers daily to help troubleshoot their issues and support the ever growing tide of new agents onto our platform.

What you will do:

  • Respond to insurance agents’ issues in a timely fashion via email, phone and chat.
  • Guide users through troubleshooting both simple and complex issues to keep them up and running as fast as possible.
  • Onboard new agents to the platform as needed
  • Help increase total user engagement with the platform with proactive outreach and transforming user complaints into actionable items

You’re well qualified for this role:

  • You are outgoing and can spend all day talking to and connecting with agents
  • You have a minimum of 1 years of customer success/customer service experience, preferably within either the insurance or SaaS field.
  • You enjoy and like to work with technology, Zoom and Google Meet are central to this role.
  • Bonus points if you’re familiar with email automation tools like Hubspot (preferred), Salesforce, or Pipedrive.
  • You are highly process-driven and are always building towards a more efficient process.
  • You are able to efficiently balance and progress multiple projects with minimal oversight.
  • You are excited to be a part of changing the quoting experience for all small commercial agents.
  • You have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

  • Competitive Base Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 based on experience
  • Stock Options: Offered on a one-year vesting schedule and four-year cliff
