Agile Content Operations Manager

About the Role
Cisco has embarked on a strategic journey to reach a net new audience of enterprise software developers and grow audience and engagement with its existing audience of infrastructure engineers motivated to embrace automation and programmability.
The Agile Content Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day content production operations of the Content Team - ensuring that the vital people, process, and technology are in place to implement the content strategies and plans with the goal of delivering world-class content to Cisco's core developer user audiences. In this role, you will build and manage content operations by creating scalable processes and managing tools that enable operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate is effective at driving cross-team collaboration, able to collect requirements, and translate requirements into efficient process and enablement programs. This role is ideal for someone who loves to solve problems, is known for attention to detail and is familiar with agile methodologies to help increase collaboration and continuously improve content quality and delivery.
Responsibilities:

• Establish and optimize cross-functional workflows in project management software to create stronger efficiencies, collaboration, and communication during every stage of the content production process and across all content types (articles, web pages, email, e-books, social posts, and more).
• Create enablement programs and maintain documentation for content production with an eye toward scale.
• Train Marketing team members and cross-functional stakeholders on the implementation of tools and processes to deliver and collaborate on world-class content and be the point of contact to continually provide support.
• Use knowledge of OKRS and priorities to make operational decisions, including prioritization, and communicate those decisions to cross-functional partners.
• Communicate regularly with team and key stakeholders to stay informed of technical enhancements and other operational decisions.
• Partner Head of Content and Marketing Analytics to report monthly data and insights on content performance across channels that enable the Content Team to make analytics-driven decisions on content development and optimization.
• Be the Content Team liaison with Campaign and Program Managers to ensure campaign and project coordination between teams at all levels.
• Proactively identify improvements that could increase the efficient collaboration of content across teams.
• Apply Agile methodologies to content operations to ensure better collaboration and continuous improvement of content.

About You

• 2+ years of experience in Content Operations, other Marketing Operations or Program Management.
• Knowledge of content production requirements and ability to translate needs into actionable process.
• Ability to administrate collaborations tools such as Asana or Jira.
• Experience with content production systems (Content Management Systems, Customer Experience Management Systems).
• Working Knowledge of Agile practices.
