Ardent is seeking an Agile IT Project Manager to join our team.  

This is a Remote role located in the Washington, D.C. Metro area.

Position Description:

Ardent is hiring for a highly skilled and experienced IT Project Manager (PM) to join our team. As the PM, you will serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for the Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer Representative (COR). Your main responsibility will be managing and delivering enterprise-wide IT systems projects, with a focus on data warehousing and business intelligence, with preferred experience having supported the federal government and large federal agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR.
• Manage and deliver enterprise-wide IT systems projects, focusing on data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Utilize Agile Development methodology and Scrum practices to develop IT systems.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
• Build and lead a high-performing project team.
• Develop and advise strategic roadmaps for project success.
• Manage an integrated team of subject matter experts and IT specialists for requirements development, system design, and data population and management.
• Ensure resources and schedules are effectively managed for multi-task projects.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of DHS, its Component organizational structure, and its unique complexities.
• Manage both full-time and part-time resources efficiently.
• Lead a development team using technologies and software applications similar based on current infrastructure such as Oracle DB, Informatica PowerCenter, Tableau Enterprise Server, PowerBI, and ArcGIS Online.
• Apply knowledge and familiarity in Federal business functions related to Facility/Real Property management, Personal Property management, Mobile Asset management, and associated operational and performance activities.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in managing and delivering enterprise-wide IT systems projects, preferably in data warehousing and business intelligence, within the federal government and large federal agencies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in an IT related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification highly preferred
• Proficiency in and demonstrable experience using Agile Development methodology and SCRUM practices for developing IT systems.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Experience in developing strategic roadmaps for solutions, services, or products.
• Proven track record of managing an integrated team of subject matter experts and IT specialists for requirements development, system design, and data population and management.
• Ability to manage resources and schedules for multi-task projects.
• Experience leading a development team utilizing identical or similar technologies and software applications to those used at DHS, (i.e. Oracle DB, Informatica PowerCenter, Tableau Enterprise Server, PowerBI, and ArcGIS Online).
• Familiarity and experience in the Federal business functions of Facility/Real Property management, Personal Property management, Mobile Asset management, and the associated operational and performance activities.
