Essential Duties:  

  • Guide and coach scrum related teams on how to use Agile SDLC and project management practices and principles to drive and deliver high quality products and services.
  • Facilitate and support all scrum events such as but not limited to: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. 
  • Ensure the execution of and facilitate stakeholder reviews.  
  • Facilitate cause mitigation meetings as needed.
  • Prioritize clear communications and ensure communication channel hygiene is high and effective between cross functional teams. 
  • Provide input, as needed, to business leaders on resource allocation for purposes of meeting current business needs while maintaining project integrity and milestones.  
  • Identify and continually measure the complexity, effort, risk and uncertainty of project scopes. 
  • Create and maintain detailed reports and dashboards for stakeholder or management review.  
  • Work to bring resolution on escalated items and clear project impediments/blockers. 
  • Interface with product owners on an active basis to manage product backlog and sprint activities.
  • Proactively build and manage positive relationships with internal stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred: 

  • 5+ years of related experience preferred.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Agile, Information System Project Management and general project management best practices and theory.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw meaningful business conclusions relevant to Project Management.
  • Advanced level knowledge of business-related software applications and services.
  • Superior research and problem-solving skills with a excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent ability to organize and prioritize.
  • Excellent ability to set and manage internal and external Member/Customer expectations.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior presentation and training skills.
  • Excellent telephone/email etiquette and an ability to deal effectively with Member/Customers.
  • Superior ability to demonstrate initiative and accountability.
  • Excellent ability to multitask and time manage.
  • Excellent ability to demonstrate professionalism.
  • Working level knowledge of change management best practices.
  • Ability to travel as often as necessary to meet the goals and objectives of the position.
  • Superior ability in effective decision making.
  • Advanced level negotiation skills.
  • Strong ability to mentor others.

Education Preferred: 

Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience.
