In this role, you will be the person who keeps our team on track and on time for new projects. Working alongside 20 to 50 team members, you remove roadblocks and keep developers coding. Whether it's coaching, cutting meetings short, or auditing the process - you'll do whatever it takes to keep the project moving.
No two days are the same. You will work alongside a team of passionate, creative developers to brainstorm and plan our scrums on whiteboards, communicating with your team or communicating across other functions to avoid potential issues in the project plan. While every day is fast-moving and unpredictable, one thing is sure: people skills are necessary for every aspect of this job.
To thrive in this role, you must understand the software development project lifecycle in an Agile environment have prior project management experience working in scrums or as a scrum master. Ideally, you've managed a project from inception to production at an enterprise level. Our best project managers show initiative, try new things and learn from their mistakes along the way. PMP certification is not required. You must be comfortable enough with code to decipher functions, and a technical coding background will help you be successful. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
You will manage internal software development projects, portfolios of software development projects, and PMO-level programs. The PM will work closely with all release management stakeholders to drive the development of high-quality, high-value software products within an Agile environment.
- Accountable for product team delivery: PM ensures that the Product Team delivers against schedule, scope, resource/cost, and quality targets using the Agile/Scrum SDLC.
- Product team coordination: PM coordinates product team activities, meetings, communications, and issue resolution among Product Mgmt., developers, and core team members. You do not wait, you drive and make it happen.
- Risk management: Anticipate and manage risks, publish a product team risk register, proactively communicate risks/issues to management in a timely manner, and offer creative solutions. Responsible for timely escalations to PMO and Solution Lead in regard to possible delivery delays & issues / risks not resolved in planned timeframe.
- Manage multiple teams: PM will lead multiple teams in the agile environment.
- Track and manage project management collateral: Responsible for publishing and maintaining project plans, schedules, issues list, status reports, and meeting agendas with action items.
- Track and manage project deliverables: Responsible for tracking software documentation, including requirements and specifications, validation plans, etc.
- Product knowledge: PM responsible for maintaining up-to-date, basic, working knowledge of core products which his/her assigned product teams are working on.

- You'll start each day with a scrum, working with teams to understand responsibilities, identify issues, and communicate coding priorities.
- You're the point of contact for the project. You'll share information with your teammates, mark milestones, and provide metrics and status updates to product owners and project sponsors.
- You work with senior tech and product leaders to help organize and create feature roadmaps and backlogs. You help them plan at the program level and translate that to team level requirements to meet the roadmap
- As a project manager, you are very organized, and you keep everyone on task. Is a meeting going off-topic? You'll pull the team back to the agenda. Scope creeping? You'll stay on top of the schedule, remove barriers, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks.
- Variety of tasks. There is no typical day. You could coach a teammate, deliver a status update to executives in other departments, or make sure we have deployed our resources in the best possible way. You will manage many competing priorities, so a fast pace should not scare you. You pride yourself on having flexibility and agility and can change directions without a second thought.
- Servant Leadership. Your job is to help everyone else work better. What tasks or issues can you handle so your development team can keep working? What barriers can you remove?
- You have 7-12 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent.
- Excellent project management, communication (verbal and written), and work management skills a must.
- Proficiency with Jira, Jira Align, Confluence, Office 365 is a must
- PMI certification (for example, PMP or PMI ACP, or PRINCE 2) a plus
- Scrum Master certification preferred
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum SDLC preferred.
- Background in sales & marketing environment and tools a plus
