The role

eBay is seeking an AI Architect to work in the Global Customer Experience team that will work closely with partners to identify and evaluate opportunities, develop cases, and track the success of AI initiatives within the organization.

Role responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to identify potential use cases for Generative AI, understanding their requirements and objectives
• Establish project scope, requirements and feasibility reports, outlining timelines, budget, and resources for each option recommended
• Drive operationalization of AI projects, with alignment to business strategies and goals
• Evaluate potential risks and ethical concerns related to Generative AI in the GCX context
• Determine conditions for success and measures of success for each use case, outlining benefits analysis, timelines, and resource requirements
• Conduct external networking to understand industry direction and stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and standard processes
• Develop and lead presentations to partners to discuss recommendations, findings and gather feedback on the project approach
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key dependencies for successful execution of Generative AI use cases
• Participate in regular meetings with partners to review the progress and success of AI projects

Role requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business operations, customer service, product management, or strategy roles, preferably in a technological environment
• Strong eye for business to evaluate AI use cases, ideas, and opportunities from a business operations perspective
• Demonstrated experience in driving successful outcome adoption in a business context, preferably for AI and / or tech solutions
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve shared business objectives
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, customers, third-party vendors, and stakeholders
• Ability to analyze complex data and identify key insights to inform business decisions related to AI solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and overcome business obstacles in AI adoption
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting in person or virtual to a wide range of stakeholders of all levels
• Familiarity with AI technologies and their potential impact on businesses and customers

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$126,800 - $187,550

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employees will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
