AI DevOps Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AI DevOps Team Lead with a strong background in Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and API standardization. The ideal candidate will have experience deploying code into production environments and a deep understanding of AI development processes. As a Team Lead, you will guide the DevOps team in implementing and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient AI systems, ensuring smooth production deployment and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the AI DevOps team in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, reliable infrastructure.
• Oversee the deployment of AI models and applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization technologies.
• Implement and standardize APIs, ensuring efficient integration and communication between AI systems and services.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and AI developers to optimize the deployment process.
• Contribute to and leverage open-source platforms, understanding the importance of open-source in the AI and DevOps ecosystem.
• Automate processes for continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and monitoring for AI pipelines.
• Lead the implementation of best practices in security, compliance, and system monitoring for AI workloads.
• Ensure proper use of cloud environments and tools for production-level AI deployment.
• Mentor junior DevOps engineers and ensure the team is up-to-date with the latest industry trends and tools in AI DevOps.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Python development, with a strong understanding of Python-based AI frameworks.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration in production environments.
• In-depth knowledge of API development, standardization, and integration.
• Experience deploying AI models and applications into production environments.
• Familiarity with open-source platforms and a strong understanding of the open-source community.
• Ability to automate deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and associated tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize AI deployments.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native tools (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI systems.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience contributing to or managing open-source projects.
• Knowledge of modern AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Prior experience in a team lead or management role within a DevOps or AI team.
