AI Engineer

This is a B2B Contract 📃 position, working remotely 🏡 from Poland 

The Role 

Capital on Tap are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our AI team in leading AI efforts across our entire business. Reporting to our Head of AI, this role involves developing cutting-edge generative AI solutions to boost growth, productivity, and customer experience.

Working with stakeholders across the business, you will be a part of every stage of AI development, ensuring our AI projects use the latest technology in the best possible way. You’ll lead the charge on delivering great value for our customers and team members by creating tools that help automate workflows and delight users. 

What you'll be doing

• Design and develop solutions using the latest AI models 
• Use advanced prompt engineering techniques to improve model performance
• Work with a wide range of stakeholders to test and validate model results
• Stay updated on the latest AI advancements, research papers, and tools
• Optimise AI models for scalability, and efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve AI-related issues, ensuring the reliability and robustness of AI-driven applications.
• Research, scope and deliver projects that enhance customer and company value through the automation of workflows or delightful customer interactions

What we are looking for

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Data Science, Analytics, or Software Development.
• Hands-on experience with the OpenAI API or similar platforms.
• Demonstrable expertise in prompt engineering and AI model validation.
• A proactive, self-directed approach and a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and flexibility in handling uncertainty.
• Proficiency in Python
• (Desirable) experience using open-source LLMs and/or Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)
