Position Summary

The Carlyle Group is seeking an AI Experience Lead to ensure our AI-driven solutions are designed with a focus on usability, quality, and compliance. This role is responsible for leading the architectural design of AI solutions, managing quality assurance, overseeing user experience, and ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI technologies, user experience design, quality control processes, and a thorough understanding of compliance regulations related to AI.

Responsibilities

50% AI Solution Architecture and User Experience Design:

  • Lead the design and architecture of AI solutions, ensuring they meet both technical specifications and user expectations.
  • Oversee the implementation of UX/UI best practices in the development of AI applications.

30% Quality Assurance and Compliance Oversight:

  • Manage the quality assurance processes to ensure AI solutions adhere to the highest standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and ethical standards throughout the AI development lifecycle.

20% Stakeholder Engagement and Team Collaboration:

Serve as a key liaison between the AI team, compliance officers, and business units to integrate and align AI solutions with business requirements.

Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of UX and compliance into AI projects.

Qualifications

Education & Certificates

  • Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree in Computer Science, AI, UX Design, or a related field preferred.

Professional Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AI design and development, with a strong focus on user experience and quality assurance.

Competencies & Attributes

  • Proficiency in AI technologies, UX design methodologies, quality assurance frameworks, and an understanding of regulatory and compliance environments.
  • Expertise in leading AI projects that balance technical requirements with user needs and compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of discussing complex issues effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to oversee multiple aspects of project development and ensure cohesive execution.
