Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated and innovative AI Governance Architect who’ll join our IBM Data & AI Software services organization the Technology Expert Labs in the beautiful city of Kraków Poland. We’re looking for a person with a passion to the world of Data & AI governance risk management and regulatory compliance. As individual contributor this position will work directly with cross functional teams product management support and engineering to build and transform AI governance & RegTech systems at customers.

A ‘day-in-the-life’ of this opportunity may include but not be limited to…

• Be a trusted Advisor and decision influencer at our clients in one of the fields: IBM OpenPages (RegTech) Financial Transaction Manager SaferPayments WatsonX.governance and/or AI Factsheets
• Help direct manage and monitor your customers’ genAI and ML models in watsonx.governance. Track a machine learning model from request to production by gathering metadata and facts about the model lifecycle using AI Factsheets. Simplify data governance risk management and regulatory compliance with IBM OpenPages. Enable financial institutions to converge their payment operations onto a single platform with IBM Financial Transaction Manager. Detect financial fraud by creating decision models and analytics with IBM SaferPayments
• Create solution blueprint estimates gap analysis and conceptual designs/customer demos as well as provide a post go-live support. Implement solutions within defined architectural guardrails principles and framework
• Actively involve in customer proposals and support business development activities
• Be the central point of connect across various teams working on the solution – the client teams IBM the IBM’s partners
• Act as a mentor to junior engineers and guide them on AI Governance & RegTech technologies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• BS. in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent experience in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering/STEM
• Strong (3-5 yrs) experience around one of the domains: GRC (Governance Risk & Compliance) financial transactions monitoring fraud analytics domain generative AI and machine learning models
• Strong experience in creating solution design estimates customer demos
• Demonstrates strong analytical thinking and creative approach to problem-solving
• Exposure on Linux containerisation shell scripting devops tools
• Must have a proven track record of innovation – 3x exemplary projects
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Being detail-oriented team-oriented self-directed and adaptable to new development environments and changing business requirements

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Strong experience in architecting solutions in one of the technologies: IBM OpenPages IBM SaferPayments IBM Financial Transaction Manager Watson AI&ML
• Experience with full lifecycle of product version upgrades and migration deployment cycles devops
• Java development certification or equivalent in one of the abovementioned products
• Experience in Reactjs Carbon UI
• Knowledge sharing opportunities like speaking at conferences techtalks meetups blogging publications
• Preferred second European language on communicative level
