AI/ML Architect

Role Summary:

The AI/ML Architect is responsible for designing and implementing advanced artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions that drive Steel Point’s strategic objectives and enhance business capabilities. This role involves creating scalable AI/ML architectures, guiding the development and deployment of AI/ML models, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The AI/ML Architect will collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, develop innovative solutions, and ensure the successful integration and utilization of AI/ML technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI/ML Architecture Design: Design and develop AI/ML architectures that meet business requirements, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and performance.
• Model Development: Oversee the development, training, and deployment of AI/ML models, including supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning models.
• Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend AI/ML technologies, tools, and platforms, staying current with industry trends and advancements.
• Data Management: Design and implement data pipelines and workflows to support AI/ML model training, validation, and deployment.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of AI/ML models and systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
• Integration: Guide the integration of AI/ML solutions into existing systems and workflows, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with business processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support AI/ML projects.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for AI/ML architectures, models, and integration processes.
• Compliance and Ethics: Ensure AI/ML solutions adhere to ethical standards and comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field is preferred. 
• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML architecture, development, and implementation.
• 7+ years of experience with major AI/ML platforms and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn).
• Proven experience with designing and deploying AI/ML models in production environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with cloud-based AI/ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, Google AI Platform) is a plus.
• AI/ML-related certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Certified - Professional Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning - Specialty) are preferred.
• Certifications in data science or analytics (e.g., Certified Data Scientist) are a plus.
