AI/ML Developer - $250 StartSmart Incentive

A Day in Your Life at MKS:
As an AI/ML Developer at MKS Instruments, you will partner with the IT Team MKS to develop, deploy, and optimize AI-driven solutions using advanced AI/ML models. In this role, you will report to the AI Manager.

Note : The successful candidate will receive the $250 StartSmart Incentive post-joining.

Make an Impact By:
• Developing and deploying web applications and scalable serverless functions on Azure Cloud.
• Designing and implementing solutions leveraging Azure Open AI Studio and Azure AI Services, including the Chat Playground.
• Selecting appropriate large language models (LLMs) based on specific problem descriptions and requirements.
• Engineering accurate prompts and optimizing prompt engineering processes to ensure the reliability and efficiency of AI models.
• Building and optimizing machine learning models for Natural Language Processing (NLP) tasks.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement and integrate AI-driven solutions into products and services.
• Travel Requirements: Need basis.
 

Skills You Bring:
• Education: Master's or bachelor’s in computer application or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Years of job-related work experience: 3-5 years of experience in AI/ML development, with proficiency in machine learning and natural language processing.
• Required Experience or Technical Skills: 

o Expertise in Python and development of Stream Lit web applications.
o Strong experience with Azure Open AI Studio and Azure AI Services.
o Proficient in selecting and integrating large language models (LLMs) based on problem requirements.
o Solid experience in Prompt Engineering and optimizing model outputs.
o Proven track record of developing and deploying web apps and serverless functions on Azure Cloud.
o Robust experience with Visual Studio Code, Python, and Azure DevOps for development and continuous integration.
o Knowledge of LLM, NLP, and other structured and Time Series based Data Analysis and Predictive models.

Preferred Skills: (Optional)

• Experience in building and maintaining AI-based solutions in a cloud-native environment.
• Familiarity with deploying AI models using containers and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Knowledge of Generative AI and applying it in AI enabled applications.
• Good to have knowledge of Hugging Face Platform.
