AI/ML Engineer

Our Product entity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning and AI to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advanced data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, with the ability to apply these skills to solve complex business problems. This role involves leading data-driven projects, developing innovative solutions, and contributing to the strategic direction of our data science initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Machine Learning and AI Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy NLP and LLM models to address business challenges and improve operational efficiency.
• Develop and fine-tune models for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, language translation, and more
• Prepare and preprocess large volumes of text data, including data cleaning, tokenization, stemming, and other text processing tasks.
• Understand requirements and participate in developing quality code.
• Familiarity with leveraging and modifying open-source libraries to build custom frameworks.
• Experiment with various machine learning algorithms and tools to optimize model performance.

Data Analysis and Interpretation:

• Conduct advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
• Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to interpret data and provide meaningful recommendations.

Project Leadership:

• Lead data science projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to integrate machine learning models into production systems.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay current with the latest advancements in machine learning, AI, and data science.
• Conduct research and experimentation to develop innovative solutions and improve existing methodologies.

Communication and Reporting:

• Communicate complex data insights and model results to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
• Prepare detailed reports, visualizations, and presentations to showcase findings and recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

• Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an NLP/ML engineer, with a strong focus on NLP techniques and model development.
• 5+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and AI applications.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering machine learning projects in a production environment.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Strong experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and others.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modelling techniques.

Data Handling and Processing:

• Expertise in handling and processing large datasets using tools such as SQL, Hadoop, or Spark.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
• Strong aptitude for data-driven decision-making and strategic thinking.

Project Management

• Proven experience in leading data science projects and managing project timelines.
