AI/ML Engineer

The role:

We are seeking an AI Innovation Leader to spearhead our AI/ML initiatives, explore cutting-edge opportunities, and propel our company forward through the strategic application of AI solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert in AI, machine learning, and data science.
• Lead the company's AI/ML initiatives by identifying opportunities for integration into our products and services.
• Mentor and educate cross-functional teams on AI best practices and methodologies.
• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and systems. Continuously explore and evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, and trends to identify opportunities for integration into our products and services.
• Actively participate in conferences, workshops, and networking events to stay informed about emerging technologies and market trends.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into AI solutions.
• Evaluate and compare different AI models and technologies to determine the most suitable approach for specific projects. Conduct in-depth research and analyses to compare and recommend the most suitable AI models and technologies for specific projects.
• Conduct statistical analyses to improve model performance and predict outcomes.
• Manage the full lifecycle of machine learning projects, from research and development to deployment and maintenance.
• Ensure high standards of data quality and integrity.
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies to maintain CookUnity’s competitive edge.
• Act as an ambassador for AI within the organization, advocating for its adoption and showcasing its potential impact.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
• at least 6 years of experience with a strong background in machine learning, data science, and AI, and staying updated with industry trends.
• Proven experience working with AI models and implementing AI solutions in real-world scenarios.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages and familiarity with ML libraries.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective machine learning systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a clear understanding of algorithmic design.
• Natural leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the food technology sector is a plus.
