About the Role: We are looking for an AI/ML Engineer to develop and implement machine learning models for automating the management of US healthcare claims. This role will involve working closely with data scientists and healthcare experts to create efficient and scalable AI solutions. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design & implement machine learning algorithms to analyze and manage healthcare claims. 

• Collaborate with data scientists to preprocess & prepare data for training and evaluation. 

• Develop custom models & leverage pre-built models for specific claims management tasks. 

• Deploy, manage, and scale AI models in a production environment using cloud-based services. 

• Monitor model performance and iterate on solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency. 

• Ensure compliance with healthcare data security and privacy regulations. 

• Document technical solutions and create guidelines for future projects. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• Over 3 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on B2B SaaS applications. 

• Advanced proficiency in Python & BigQuery with expertise in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras for deep learning and data processing. 

• Demonstrated expertise in Transfer Learning models, including hands-on experience with Hugging Face’s Transformers library for fine-tuning models & GPT variants for complex NLP tasks. 

• Proven ability to deploy SLM models on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. 

• Good understanding of healthcare systems & data formats with regulatory standards. 

• Adept at quickly adapting to new technologies, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and text analytics. 

• Proficient in LLM & Transfer Learning models like Hugging Face. 

• Knowledge of healthcare claims processing and EHR/EMR systems. 

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for CI/CD in ML projects.
