Job Description

Torch Technologies, a 100 percent employee-owned company, is seeking a professional AI/ML Engineer with 5-8 years of experience to join our team working to create new and innovative solutions to solve the warfighters needs in areas of Robotics, Image Processing, Unmanned Aviation, and Big Data. Candidates applying for this position will get to drive new technology decisions and assist in improving existing AI/ML applications.

The candidate selected for this position will be a member of an agile development CMMI Level 3 team working closely with other developers to identify, create, and deploy new solutions. The ideal candidate must be able to work well both independently and within a multi-disciplinary collaborative team environment

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML technologies
• BS Degree in a technical related field
• Strong understanding on how to apply existing AI/ML algorithms to problem spaces.
• Ability to create and modify AI/ML algorithms to improve performance.
• Proficiency in Python and other coding skills
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux environments
• Knowledge of software development processes

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Tensorflow and Pytorch frameworks.
• Strong C++ skills
• CUDA coding experience.
• Unreal Environment experience for Synthetic Data Generation.
