We're looking for passionate engineer with demonstrated accomplishments in research or implementation of Generative AI machine learning with emphasis on personalization and privacy. In this role, you will be able to innovate on the new algorithms, create prototypes and help implement them.

Description

As a member of the team, you will be inspired by a diversity of challenging problems, collaborate with world-class machine learning engineers and researchers to impact the future of Apple products. Your responsibility would be in improvement of such algorithms, invention of the new ones, prototyping and early demonstration, as well as productization of the results working with broader teams across Apple.

• Research publications or implementation track record of working on interpretability, adaptation or private learning for generative AI.
• Hands on proficiency with Python.
• Proven ability to work and succeed in collaborative environment.
• MS in STEM field.

• PhD in STEM field.
• Ability to work in multiple computer languages and model training platforms.
• Research work spanning interpretability, personalization and private learning for generative AI.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
