Summary:
AIPAC's mission is to encourage and persuade the U.S. government to enact specific policies that create a strong, enduring, and mutually beneficial relationship with our ally Israel. Our focus is clear, we come to work every day motivated to keep America strong and Israel secure.
The AIPAC PAC Manager will work closely with the AIPAC PAC Director to achieve the PAC's overall political objectives including shepherding a more than $4 million PAC budget, managing the PAC Portal and providing excellent customer service to staff and lay stakeholders around the country who interact with the PAC.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- The PAC Manager's primary responsibility is to have a thorough understanding of the PAC's portal and oversee the continued development and implementation of this tool.
- Serve as point of contact with outside vendors responsible for the portal.
- Develop tools for staff and stakeholders to receive and monitor PAC data in real-time.
- Ensure the seamless flow of PAC information within the AIPAC DC office and from DC to the AIPAC regional offices.
- Monitor FEC-related issues associated with PAC contributions and the Portal; assist with the preparation of quarterly PAC reports and related materials.
- Liaison with other Departments producing PAC-related tools for broader audiences.
- Conduct staff and lay leader training on the Portal.
- Troubleshoot issues/respond to questions from regional and DC staff and lay leaders.
- Develop talking points, PAC presentations, and other materials for board and other presentations.
- Manage PAC Associate within the Department
- Assist with other PAC-related duties as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- A strong commitment to the US-Israel relationship and willingness to work on a bipartisan basis is necessary.
- Exceptional knowledge, background and experience with technology and systems is a must.
- Experience with data tools is necessary including: Smartsheet, salesforce, tableau, PowerPoint, Excel and Microsoft Outlook.
- Attention to detail and precision is essential.
- Political acumen is preferred with 5-7 years of experience (e.g., political campaign, legislative office experience)
- Excellent writing and communications skills
- Knowledge of the issues affecting the U.S.-Israel alliance
- Bachelor's degree required.
Competitive salary based on experience. This position is eligible for benefits during the employment period. We currently work remotely two days a week and in our offices the other three. AIPAC is an equal-opportunity employer.
