Algo Recruiting Generalist

Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking for a generalist to join our Algo Recruiting team. This role encompasses the full scope of the candidate lifecycle with a focus on identifying, engaging with, and managing high potential candidates in quantitative finance. This role will be a critical part of our talent growth efforts in new initiatives and various global markets. 

Responsibilities

• Manage candidate pipelines ensuring a positive candidate and hiring team experience
• Oversee high-touch interview processes, partnering cross-functionally with the broader Recruiting team and hiring managers to deliver an exceptional candidate experience
• Create strategic plans for identifying candidates with diverse backgrounds informed by  market knowledge and an understanding of the talent landscape 
• Design the interview and hiring processes for new roles and optimize processes for existing roles
• Manage various pipelines in our Application Tracking System, processing candidates efficiently with an attention to detail
• Develop and maintain relationships with all candidates regardless of application outcome to support the fast-changing nature of hiring needs and interest levels
• Actively maintain and improve HRT’s internal recruiting database

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of technical and/or quantitative recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment 
• Ability to track and synthesize market news and create efficient team-wide knowledge management systems
• A demonstrable passion for delivering an outstanding candidate experience 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of friendliness and professionalism
• Proven ability to attract passive candidates by using creative sourcing methods
• Positive and team-oriented attitude (sense of humor is always appreciated!)
• Ability to prioritize independent workflows alongside critical team projects
