All Around Carpenter

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be comfortable working on construction sites. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. Duties • Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. • Perform trim carpentry tasks including the installation of moldings and baseboards. • Assemble and install cabinets, doors, windows, and other wooden fixtures. • Lay tile and perform metal stud framing as needed for various projects. • Execute construction painting tasks to ensure finishes meet project specifications. • Install siding and drywall as part of building or renovation projects. • Engage in concrete forming for foundations or other structural elements. • Collaborate with project managers and other trades on-site to ensure timely completion of tasks. Experience • Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields is essential. • Familiarity with trim carpentry techniques and practices. • Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols. • Skills in tile laying, metal stud framing, siding installation, drywall hanging, and concrete forming are highly desirable. • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is an asset. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
