Position Overview: 

We are looking for a talented and experienced Applied AI/ML Lead to drive the development and deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) models in real-world business applications. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and researchers to apply cutting-edge AI/ML techniques to solve complex business challenges. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, influencing business strategies, and implementing scalable AI/ML solutions that deliver tangible business value.

As the Applied AI/ML Lead, you will have a strong focus on turning AI research and models into production-ready solutions, ensuring that models are robust, scalable, and integrated into key business processes. You will also be responsible for mentoring and guiding a growing AI/ML team while staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technology.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and deployment of AI/ML models aimed at improving customer-facing experiences and driving personalization.
• Work closely with Data Analytics and Development teams to integrate AI models into production environments.
• Design AI-based solutions that leverage clustering, segmentation, and scoring techniques.
• Oversee the development of AI/ML-based features and capabilities (recommendations, predictive analytics, etc.).
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to ensure data readiness and quality for AI/ML models.
• Implement and track AI performance using AIOps practices to reduce MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution).

Must Have Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership or technical oversight role.
• Expertise in applying AI/ML for business solutions, with a focus on customer experience improvement and personalization.
• Hands-on experience with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and integrating AI with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Strong expertise in AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
• Experience with AWS AI/ML tools like SageMaker, or similar cloud-based AI services.
• Strong understanding of customer personalization techniques, including segmentation, scoring, and recommendation systems.
• Deep knowledge of data pipelines, and integrating AI models with real-time data systems (e.g., Kafka).
• Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development and deployment.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with MinIO and S3 for managing large AI datasets.
• Experience in automating AI/ML workflows using tools like Airflow.
• Exposure to LLM (Large Language Models) and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) models.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related technical degree.
