AM Technology - AMPM Derivatives Risk Technology Lead

Job Description
JPMorgan Asset Management is embarking on a major multi-year, ground up initiative to dramatically enhance our derivatives capabilities end-to-end. As the lead for the New York Derivatives Technology team, you will face to stakeholders including Traders, Portfolio Managers, Quant Research and Middle Office users in the North America and the LATAM Markets. You will collaborate with global technology teams to build Risk, Analytics, P&L (Profit and Loss) and Portfolio Management capabilities for the business users. The role will involve hands-on design and development of solutions ranging from implementation of quantitative models & analytics to the build out of trade entry capabilities for front-office Traders and Portfolio Managers.
Requirements:
Technical Skills:

• 5+ years (VP) / 2+ years (Associate) of professional software development experience
• Experience with one or more Object Oriented development languages. Python (1 st ) & Java (2 nd ) are the technologies predominantly used by the team.
• Experience working on risk management platforms such as Athena, Quartz, SecDB or Beacon

Desirable Skills:

• Object oriented programming experience in Python, Java, C++ or C#
• JavaScript (preferably with React)
• Familiarity with NoSQL/OO Databases
• Automated Unit Testing

Desirable Business Knowledge:

• Fixed Income Derivatives
• Equity Derivatives
• Trade Lifecycle
