Position Summary:

The Kaspien Amazon Marketing Manager mentors a team of specialists implementing advertising strategies for several partners in their portfolio. This position will set ad budgets, lead team training, and ensure partner growth. The ideal candidate can develop new growth strategies, set priorities, manage partner expectations, and constantly looks for new optimization opportunities. Simply put, the Amazon Marketing Manager is focused on improving margin and conversion across hundreds of partners and thousands of SKUs.

This position requires extensive experience with content optimization, case management, and ad management. Candidates will also understand how to utilize software to automate bid management, deploy dayparting, run content audits, and master keyword research. This position works alongside the Promotions Director and Creative Director to execute a growth-oriented marketing strategy. Promotions, liquidation, product launches, excess inventory, you name it, this role orchestrates strategy, communication, and execution.

A qualified candidate must have the ability to communicate the capabilities of these innovative advertising options and make recommendations to other departments and outward-facing partners. The Amazon Marketing Manager reports to the VP of Marketing.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage a team of marketing specialists responsible for partner growth
  • Develop strategies for optimizing the entire catalog under management
  • Coordinate with the Promotions Director and Creative Director to ensure partner growth
  • Optimize ad campaign performance
  • Create growth avenues to hit revenue targets and efficiency goals
  • Explore new advertising opportunities through video, steaming tv, influencers, etc
  • Contribute to the collective wisdom of the Marketing Team

Requirements

Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

  • 5+ years of Amazon paid search management
  • 5+ years of Amazon content optimization
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience, preferred

Required Skills:

  • Solid Excel knowledge
  • Experience working within Amazon, Target, or other online marketplaces
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong partner presentation skills
  • Superior organizational and time awareness skills
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Self-starter, able to set and meet deadlines
  • Hard-working, honest, fun human being
  • Amazon Advertising Certification preferred
  • Experience with bid automation software (Pacvue, Helium10, or equivalent) preferred

Work Environment:

Fast-paced, deadline-oriented remote work office environment.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to regularly talk, hear, see, and operate a computer, keyboard, and mouse
  • Occasionally lift, pull/push and carry up to 15 pounds

Salary Description

$85,000 - $115,000 based on skills & experience
