This Product Manager role is focused on portfolio expansion and growth in the Americas region for a recent acquisition. As part of the Industrial team, the Product Manager will be joining a group of professionals who are passionate about ensuring the future growth of our business, creating and executing plans, accepting accountability, working together and continually improving while maintaining integrity.
TE Connectivity's Regional Product Managers manage all aspects of a product portfolio. They are directly tied to the customer and own the business within the region. The RPM interacts closely with the Global Product Manager and regional Sales team to align and carry out strategies. The product focus area for this RPM role is wire to board and wire to wire signal and power connectors. Key measurements of revenue growth and profitability are rewarded.

Key Responsibilities:
- Articulates market trends, demand drivers, customer needs, industry trends and competitive landscape within the Americas region
- Designs go to market strategy, inclusive of channel strategy
- Partners with Marketing/Digital in support of new product introduction and GTM execution
- Partners with Operations on topics of delivery, quality, inventory, etc.
- Supports Sales and attends customer meetings in support of winning new business
- Revenue growth and margin improvement
- New product sales
- Business development; nurturing and conversion of opportunity pipeline
What your background should look like:
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management, sales, business development or other relevant experience
- Relevant product or industry experience desired
- Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant P&L management experience preferred
- Creative and innovative thinker able to provide input on the development of the product strategies and the relevant business plans with the ability to execute
- Strong interpersonal, planning, organizational and teamwork skills
- Advanced presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate both up and down the organization
