Join SATG as an Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) Operations Manager! The Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) is a global team under the Manufacturing IT (MIT) organization and is chartered to install and sustain AMHS mechanical components within Intel's HVM factories. MIT AMHS works closely with TD Analytics and Technology Automation organization to deliver AMHS solutions for factories.
MIT AMHS are looking for an Operational Manager whose responsibilities will be, but not limited to:
- Ownership of day-to-day Operations, monitor and manage escalated incidents, responsible to resolve incidents within SLA/OLA targets in partnership with MIT Organization and MSO partners.
- Champions and promotes AMHS quality culture and continuous improvement in support of customer satisfaction.
- Develop Operations OKRs and KPIs and ensure MIT-AMHS is meeting targets.
- Represents AMHS in Change Control Boards and Automation Operations Meetings as necessary to communicate incident response and problem closure.
- Works directly with AMHS Director, AMHS Service Owner and global AMHS team to review and prioritize improvements as well as part of an escalation management team.
- Chairs AMHS Service Operations weekly meeting, taskforces, etc. as required.
- Participates in customer meetings to stay engaged with factory business and operations.
- Proactively manage communication across all levels of the organization.
- Accountable for accuracy of impact data, root cause, process evaluation via formal After-Action Reviews.
- Drive quality culture, Incident Management, Change Management and Problem Management for global MIT AMHS team.

Qualifications:
You must possess the minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Minimum Qualifications
The candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems and 3+ years of experience -OR- a Master's Degree in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems and 2+ years of experience -OR- a PhD in in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Management Information Systems and:
- Automated Material Handling System (AMHS)
- Manufacturing operations
- Engineering principles, theories, and concepts

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
