The Team: 

The Compliance team provides support for a multi-asset class prime broker that supports active traders and institutional accounts built on a technologically advanced proprietary platform. The team thrives in working in a fast-paced environment with constantly evolving business opportunities. Regulatory compliance is a key metric by which Clear Street's client's, counterparties, banks, debt holders and investors assess Clear Street's risk. A strong regulatory compliance team focused on building strong relationships with regulators allows Clear Street to expand quickly and to avoid regulatory fines and undertakings.

The Role:

We are looking for an AML Compliance Analyst who will report to the AML Compliance Officer and will assist with administering the Firm’s AML Compliance Program and conducting post-trade reviews of trading, money movements and other transactional activity. 

You will:

• Gather and analyze information collected at account onboarding in accordance with the Firm’s Customer Identification Program and Customer Due Diligence Program requirements.
• Conduct reviews of account activity, including trading activity, deposit and withdrawal activity, and public domain activity, to identify potential red flags and to determine if activity is in line with Clear Street’s policies.
• Advise business unit management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Prepare regulatory filings related to AML & Financial Crime Risk activities.
• Contribute to streamlining current processes and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• You have at least 2 years of AML experience, preferably for a prime broker or online broker-dealer focused on retail clients.
• You have knowledge of AML rules and regulations and an understanding of equities, options and futures.
• You have strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
• You have the ability to work independently and to manage multiple deadlines. 
• You have an eye to spot issues and design effective solutions to address them.

Bonus points:

• Experience with SQL or Python a strong plus.
