The Job

As a Project Manager at GeekPlus, you'll be the primary point of contact with our partners and clients who range from Startups to Fortune 500 players. You'll interact regularly to maintain strong communication with the clients and understand well their needs. You'll team with Applications and Robotic Engineers to understand all the details of the system configuration and site dynamics. You'll work with internal and external resources to coordinate all aspects of a Robotic Systems deployment at a customer site. Responsibilities:

  • Manage warehouse engineering project end-to-end including hardware and software solutions
  • Conduct project planning including the scope of work, budget, schedule, internal resources, and subcontracting services
  • Deliver solution design to customers with warehouse planner and software expert
  • Manage supply chain and logistics for materials required for project delivery
  • Monitor CRM and ERP order execution
  • Oversee hardware installation and software implementation through deployment, testing, and go-live phases
  • Develop strong customer relationship
  • Prepare for weekly progress reports for the project team and customer's record

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree. Preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 5-10 years of experience in warehouse operation/ logistic functions/3PL industry or similar industry, or project management experience in professional services and consulting firms.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills since this is a client facing role.
  • Online collaboration tools proficiency is required
  • MS Office suite proficiency is required
  • Ability to facilitate and drive cross-department collaboration.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Willing to learn and have attention to details

Preferred:

  • AutoCAD 2D layout proficiency is highly preferred
  • Chinese and Mandarin is highly preferred for business needs
  • MS Project proficiency
