We are seeking an Analyst to join out Asset Management team in Washington DC.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Scope is focused on financial analysis at the property level, presentation of investment recommendations and reports, and coordination of leasing and capital projects, including:
  • Prepare detailed cash flow projections and analysis of existing properties, including NER analysis for proposed leasing transactions
  • Run regular hold/sell analysis and prepare investment committee memorandums for dispositions, financings, and major lease transactions
  • Coordinate the completion of annual business plans, including detailed and market leasing assumptions, operating and capital budgets, cash flow projections, recovery profiles and individual asset strategies
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly reforecasts and valuation reports for Board and investor presentations
  • Conduct market research and prepare presentations for management review
  • Prepare periodic updates of leasing and market activity for the DC region's office portfolio
  • Coordinate with external leasing teams to maintain pipeline for new and renewal lease deals with prospective and in-place tenants
  • Collaborate with internal design, construction and operations teams to manage timing and cost of capital projects
  • Prepare diligence information for financings and dispositions
  • Provide assistance on regional operations initiatives as needed

Your Qualifications:

  • Top academic credentials; Bachelor's degree, finance degree a plus
  • 1-3 years' experience in commercial real estate asset management, investments or finance
  • Quantitative thinker with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to handle large volume of work and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and proactive, both with respect to managing workload and own professional development
  • Close attention to detail and accuracy of your work
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and ARGUS software
