Job SummaryÂ
The Analyst, Analytics will help to help continue our expansion in our Analytics Department. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of digital metrics; both from a brand and direct response perspective as well as a track record of successfully building analytic approaches across a broad mix of clients. A major responsibility of this role will be to help build the Horizon Media approach and infrastructure for analytics on existing clients as well as provide measurement guidance on new business pitches. This is a unique opportunity for motivated individuals to help drive innovation and thought leadership throughout a vibrant and dynamic organization.Â

What You’ll DoÂ
50% Data Communication/Cross-Functional CollaborationÂ

Communicate concise data points, trends and measurement strategies to a broad audience of both technical and non-technical teamsÂ

Collaborate with media planning and brand strategy teams to develop KPI’s and reporting methodologies/approaches that match campaign and brand goals Â
30% KPI/Reporting Methodology Development Â

Develop processing workflows for data aggregation, cleansing and harmonization across multiple media platformsÂ
-
Establish QA protocols to ensure accuracy and data granularity for analysesÂ
10% Dashboard/Visualization Building Â

Build robust data visualizations and interactive dashboards that are capable of delivering information in an intelligent and digestible manner Â
10% Analyze Information Â

Bring forward insights, results, and suggest optimizations to improve said results Â

Peel through layers of reported data, disregarding the unnecessary, to deliver analysis and insight to both internal and external client constituents Â

Preferred Skills & Experience Â

Strong analytical skills are required, including the ability to analyze raw data, identify trend drivers, draw conclusions, and summarize actionable recommendations and their forecasted outcomes/implications Â

Expertise in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Â

Basic knowledge of data structuring with Knime, SQL, R, Python preferred.Â

Creative/curious approach to ramping up understanding aspects of digital advertising, digital media strategy and standard media measurementÂ

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to aggregate information and data from multiple sourcesÂ

Experience with Tableau or other data visualization/dashboarding tools preferred Â

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey and package technical findings in layman’s terms Â

Ideally 1-2 years relevant experience preferred.Â

Salary Range
$62,400.00 - $75,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
