Position Summary
The Auto Accounts Analyst will provide valuable support in responding to new Customer RFPs/RFQs, evaluating potential new business opportunities, and responding to requests for new services from existing customers. Analysts will also be asked to provide support in analyzing business performance and help senior management make strategic decisions by preparing routine reports.
Responsibilities
- Data Retrieval, Manipulation, and Analysis
- Generate & maintain regular team reports, including financial analysis and forecasting
- Obtain pertinent data from company systems, including SAP, to aid in regular reporting as well as ad hoc related projects
- Organize large amounts of data, analyze, and make the data presentable for executive and team review
- Maintain and track rate and tariff schedules, Customer approvals and backup supporting data
- Contracting Support for New and Existing Customers
- Track and maintain all Customer rates (Revenue and Cost)
- Support the Auto Account Manager in annual Customer rate increases
- Support executive team with the handling and organization of Customer contracts and associated rate schedules
- Support team with evaluating contracts prior to Legal and Executive review
- Support Team Special Projects
- Work with team to create, review, and question cost and pricing models for new and current business
- Analyst will also be asked to maintain and improve tools used for team projects
- Analyze information obtained from other departments confirm validity
- Support the development of PowerPoint presentations for Manager/HOD
- Preparation of internal approval documents and supporting analysis
Compensation Range
- $48,000 - $55,000 per year

Qualifications
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills Preferred
- Advanced PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management Required
- SAP experience preferred but not required
- Must possess high organizational skills and attention to detail Required
- Ability to logically and systematically solve complex problems that involve competing priorities Required
- Must be able to work independently and at the direction of the Supervisor, Manager and/or National Manager/HOD Required
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred
- 1 - 2 years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience Required
- Experience in Business Planning and/or Financial Analysis is Required
- Experience in Vehicle Logistics and/or Automotive Industry is Preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit in front of a desk and/or in front of the computer for long periods
- Repetitive use of hand/grasping product, writing, and typing
- Lift up to 20lbs.
