Analyst, Benefits

Tower Research Capital, a high-frequency proprietary trading firm founded in 1998, seeks a Benefit Analyst to join our Human Resource Department as a member of the Payroll/Benefit team.

We are looking for a highly motivated, self-starter who is flexible, well organized and someone who can multitask in a high paced environment.  This individual is passionate and knowledgeable about benefits and stays current with federal and state laws and trends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration and enrollment of employee benefit plans
• Conduct bi-weekly new hire orientation 
• Manage the benefits email inbox, provide excellent customer service when addressing employee queries in a timely manner
• Manage and develop a robust wellness benefits program
• Conduct audits to ensure accuracy of participant enrollments with vendors
• Assist with the maintenance of benefit material on company portal, and help with employee communications
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations such as ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, etc.
• Assist in the preparation and data validation for annual filings
• Lead the annual enrollment process, including health fair and communications
• Manage relationship with vendors, as well as resolve employee benefit matters and maintain data integrity
• Prepare and distribute COBRA, departure memos, and other time sensitive benefits notices
• General knowledge of HR practices, compensation, and payroll
• Support the regional Payroll/Benefits team and participate in cross-training as part of the disaster recovery plan
• Prepare monthly benefits reports for 3rd party insurers, and auditing/processing monthly invoices (HSA, FSA and transit plans, etc.)
• Review weekly benefits carrier connection uploads and investigating any errors
• Manage leave of absence employee requests

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of HR experience in Benefits
• Strong communication skills
• Experience with HR systems (ADP & Workday), a plus
• Strong PC skills - Google (including Word, Excel, Google Mail, Google Calendar, PowerPoint) 
• Knowledge of pivot tables, V Look Up, formulas a plus
• Strong analytical and research skills; well organized, and a self-starter
• Strong customer service and presentation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Payroll experience is a plus 

Anticipated annual base salary range $75,000-95,000, plus eligible for discretionary bonus
